FAQ

Why is 100+ Women Who Care membership-based?

Our goal is to build a strong community of women who want to make a difference. In order to reach our fundraising goals of $10,000 each meeting, we rely on our members’ dedicated participation twice per year.

What does a membership commitment entail?

As a member of 100+ Women Who Care Eastern Oregon, you are expected to make a $100 donation twice per year for the winning charity. Even if you didn’t vote for the winning cause, we expect that you will still donate. If you’re unable to attend the semiannual meeting, we ask that you still send in your donation by one of three ways:

1. Mail in your check to:

Holly Woods

Attn: 100 Women Who Care

115 E Highland Ave STE C

Hermiston, OR 97838

2. Give your check/cash to another member to deliver on your behalf to the meeting

3. Send in your donation as soon as you have been notified of the charity name. Add "100 Women Who Care Eastern Oregon" to the memo.

Can anyone nominate an organization to be considered?

Because we’re a giving circle, only members can nominate and present charities to receive funding from 100+ Women Who Care Eastern Oregon. You must attend at least 1 meeting before being eligible to nominate. Whether you’re a volunteer, a board member, or just an enthusiastic supporter of a local nonprofit, we want to hear from you!

What is the Charity Nomination process?

It’s easy! Simply complete this form, at lease 4 weeks prior to the upcoming semiannual meeting, please come prepared to present at the meeting as 3 nominations will be chosen out of a hat at random while at the meeting.
